A.J. Garabedian was the only Hawk victor on Sunday in a 6-1 loss at Princeton. Playing number six singles, Garabedian defeated Ted Mabrey, 6-4, 6-2 to earn SJU's only point in the match. SJU falls to 3-2 on the season, while the Tigers up their record to 3-4.
Garabedian teamed with classmate
Jimmy Holland at second doubles and gave the duo of Andrew Lieu and David Gopstein a close match before falling, 9-8. Sophomore
Chris Spencer was the only singles player to go three sets before losing 6-2, 6-7, 1-0 (5).
SJU returns to action next Saturday against Army.
