MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to Fordham, 6-1, at the SJU Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.
Amanda Nava battled back from a set down to force a third set before ultimately falling in the top flight.Â
Ireland Amato earned a point for the Hawks in the sixth singles flight, defeating her opponent in a walkover.
"It was a solid match against a strong opponent," head coach
Ian Crookenden said. "I am very pleased that Amanda and Stow bounced back after losing quick first sets. Another learning experience for our youthful squad."
