BOBISH MOVES INTO SECOND PLACE IN ALL-TIME WINS IN 7-0 BLANKING OF DREXEL

PHILADELPHIA (10/10/03) -- The Hawk women's tennis team didn't drop a set on Friday in blanking city rival Drexel, 7-0, on Friday in West Philadelphia. With Katie Bobish's 6-2, 6-3 win at second singles, the senior moves into second place on the SJU all-time wins list.

Senior Pilar Glodzik was a whitewash winner at first singles, taking a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Sophomore Nicole Morrison followed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at third singles, while junior Michelle Savage earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at fourth singles.

Sophomore Jess Swanderski followed with another 6-1, 6-0 win, and freshman Erika Guers closed the match with her 6-1, 6-4 victory at sixth singles.

In doubles, Glodzik-Morrison were 8-3 victors at #1, while Swanderski and Bobish captured a 8-4 win. Guers and Savage won by shutout at #3 with a 8-0 win.

The Hawks close out their fall portion of the schedule on Wednesday when they host Delaware at 2:30 p.m.
