The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team dropped its home match to Delaware, 7-0, Wednesday afternoon at Finnesey Courts.
The Fightin' Blue Hens claimed the first point of the match in doubles competition. Despite a win at No. 2 doubles by senior Gina DiGiacomo and freshman Maggie Mullaney, but Delaware posted victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to earn the point.
Individually, Delaware (1-0) posted wins at all six singles spots to earn the victory.
Saint Joseph's (1-2) returns to action this Saturday, September 29, at Rhode Island.
