The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team wrapped up its play at the Towson Fall Classic Saturday afternoon.
Opening play against the host Tigers, Saint Joseph's battled hard against Towson, winning two points. Unfortunately for the Hawks, they couldn't earn another point as the Tigers won 3-2.
In the day's second match, it was another close contest for Saint Joseph's. But it was another tough ending for the Hawks as they fell to Johns Hopkins, 3-2.
Saint Joseph's returns to action next Saturday, September 15, when the Hawks open the home portion of their schedule versus Manhattan. The match begins at noon at Finnesey Courts.
