Men's Tennis Drops Final Tune-Ups Before A-10 Championship

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches this weekend, their final two matches before next weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship. The Hawks fell on Saturday to Xavier, 4-1, and lost a tough 4-3 match with Villanova on Sunday.

Nick Tuxen led the way for the Hawks, winning a singles match and both of his doubles matches. Pairing with Tuxen for both victories was sophomore Michael Stauble.

Next up for Saint Joseph's is the Atlantic 10 Championship, which beings on Friday, April 4 at Club 4 Life in Monroeville, Pa. The seventh-seeded Hawks will take on the #10 seed, Saint Louis, at 11:00 a.m. The winner will face the #2 seed, Xavier, at 5:00 Friday afternoon.
