The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought match at Delaware Tuesday afternoon, 6-1. Saint Joseph's freshman Casey Robinson tallied SJU's lone point with a victory at No. 2 singles.
The Fightin' Blue Hens earned the first point of the match, winning all three doubles matches.
In singles competition, Robinson earned a two-set victory over Ivana Petrich, 7-6, 6-1, to give Saint Joseph's its lone point of the day.
With the loss, SJU falls to 1-2 on the season. The Hawks host Delaware State this Thursday at 3 p.m.
