The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team had a dominant performance on Saturday, winning a pair of matches at Saint Peter's College. In the first contest, the Hawks knocked off the host Peacocks, 4-1. Later on, SJU whitewashed La Salle, 5-0.
Senior captains Pat Adams and Phil Bayliss each won a pair of singles matches on the day, with Adams holding down the top flight and Bayliss the second. Freshman Jeff Kessler was 2-0 in the fourth singles flight as well.
The Hawks improve to 2-2 on the season with the wins. SJU returns to action Saturday at noon with a dual meet at Navy.
