PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team posted a third-place finish in the Second Varsity 8 at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River.

The Hawks, who were the defending champion in the race, clocked a 7:13.47 to finish behind Drexel and Bucknell in the race. SJU's crew was comprised of: c- Laken Ethun; 8- Alexa Lawson; 7- Kelsey Larzelere; 6- Jill Perkins; 5- Jackie Castorino; 4- Nicola O'Donnell; 3- Angeline Novella; 2- Jenni Broring; 1- Meaghan Scher.

The Varsity 8 garnered a fifth-place finish in the Second Final with a lineup of: c- Brittany Roth; 1- Rachel Shustack.
