Athletic Director's Corner
Dear Fellow Hawk,

The midway point of each semester is among the most active times of year in the athletic department, our fall teams are winding down their seasons, while our winter sports teams are gearing up for competition.? In addition, our spring teams are wrapping up fall ball and turning their attention to individual training sessions.? Off the field, spring class scheduling is underway and we are working with our student-athletes so they are able to coordinate their academic requirements with their team commitments.

It was great to see so many former players and their families turnout for Hawktoberfest, as well as our other recent events.? The relationships built by teammates and coaches are among the most important that individuals will take away from their college experience.? Beyond the alumni gatherings, it was wonderful to have the opportunity to bless Sweeney Field and dedicate the new Blaney Family Men's Soccer Locker Room.? We are grateful to the Sweeney and Blaney families for their dedication and support of Hawk Athletics.

Finally, as the calendar turns to November, we are excited about the arrival of the men's and women's basketball seasons.? With veteran rosters returning, as well as a mix of talented newcomers, we anticipate both teams to make us proud as they compete for Big 5 and Atlantic 10 titles.? Individual single game tickets go on sale on November 1 and season ticket packages are also available.? We hope that you will make plans to cheer on our teams this year.

Visit SJUHawks.com or our numerous social media channels to stay informed about the latest happening regarding the Hawks.? We appreciate your passion and? support of SJU Athletics.

Go Hawks!
