Women's Rowing Hosts George Washington and Penn on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team will again raise the bar this week when it hosts A-10 foe George Washington and crosstown rival Penn on Saturday, March 23, on the Schuylkill River. Racing begins at 12:30 p.m.

The Hawks are facing an aggressive racing schedule and this meet in particular, will test the mettle of the team.

"We are excited to get such a competitive test this early in the season," said coach Gerry Quinlan. "We have started 2013 very well and have made great strides this week."

The Gillin Boathouse will be the headquarters for the race - Hawk fans and alumni are welcome to watch the races from the deck of the boathouse.
