The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team continued its hot streak on Saturday as the Hawks topped Atlantic 10 rival St. Bonaventure, 6-1, for the Hawks sixth straight win.
The Hawks opened play winning the doubles point as they took all three matches. Casey Robinson and Aurora Davis were 8-3 winners at the top flight, while Lauren Roy and Kristina Eisenbrand posted an 8-4 victory at the second flight. The Bonnies defaulted the third flight to SJU's Devi Jadeja and Kelly Mulquin.
Switching to singles play, Saint Joseph's (7-8) Robinson was a 6-3, 6-0 victor at the top flight, while Davis followed with a three set win, 7-5, 0-6, 10-8, over Marissa Brossard at No. 2 singles.
The Bonnies took the third flight in three sets, but Jadeja and Mulquin were flawless in their fourth and fifth set flights, respectively, pulling 6-, 6-0 wins for the Hawks. Roy earned the win at the sixth flight as the Bonnies defaulted.
The Hawks return to action this Tuesday when they host Bucknell at 1 p.m.
