Athletic Director's Corner
Dear Fellow Hawk,

Welcome to 2014! The spring semester is underway and our student-athletes and coaches have resumed their practices and workouts.?

The cold weather has been a challenge, as bitter temperatures, along with snow covered fields and courts, have limited accessibility to outdoor practices.? Nevertheless, our teams have been working hard and taken advantage of our indoor facilities.

Men's and women's tennis earn the prize as the first spring team to play an official match, while the indoor track and basketball seasons have continued through the winter.

In our continuing efforts to Develop? Everyday Champions, I'd like to call your attention to two recent events.? On Sunday, January 19, several dozen student-athletes took part in a Day of Reflection, while on Monday, January 20, hundreds participated in our annual Martin Luther King Day of Service.? These two activities provided a wonderful opportunity to live our Jesuit mission and focus on experiences away from the athletic field.

Please make plans to join us at an upcoming athletic event.? Your continued involvement and support is critical to our ongoing success.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Go Hawks!
