BEALLSVILLE, Md. - The Saint Joseph's golf team opened play at the Georgetown Hoya Intercollegiate on Monday.
Playing at the Members Club at Four Streams (par-71, 7,102-yard), the Hawks cared a scored of 320-301/621 over the opening two rounds and are in 12th place overall.
Individually, Michael O'Brien is tied for 41st at 78-72/150, with Tyler Sokolis tied for 55th with a score of 80-76.156. Drew Taylor is tied for 57th with a score of 82-75/157, while Noah Henderson is in 63rd place after two rounds 80-79/159. Ross Pilliod rounded out the five-man squad with a memorable day carding a hole-in-one en route to shooting 83-78/161 for 66th place.
Notre Dame holds the team lead by four strokes at 560, while the Fighting Irish's Ben Albin is atop the individual leaderboard at 134.
The final round begins Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
