ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Saint Joseph's golf team finished in third place and freshman Michael O'Brien and sophomore Ross Pilliod finished tied for fourth at the Navy Spring Invitational.
Playing at the Naval Academy Golf Course (par 71), the Hawks shot 295 in Sunday's final round for a two round score of 299-295/594.
Individually, Pilliod tied O'Brien with scores of 146 as Pilliod tallied two rounds of 76-70/146, and O'Brien shot 72-74/146. Sophomore Chuck Briggs tied for 11th at 75-73/148, while senior Drew Taylor tied for 29th at 76-78/154. Junior Tyler Sokolis tied for 43rd with a score of 76-81/157.
Overall, George Mason won the team title with a score of 587, while the Patriots' Kyle Hart won medalist honors with a score of 142.
The Hawks cap the regular season at the Atlanrtic 10 Championship starting next Friday.
