ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team wrapped up the 2016-17 season with an 11th place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
Playing at the par 72 New Course at Grand Cypress, the Hawks finished with a three-round score of 287-301-309/897.
Individually, freshman Michael O'Brien led the Hawks with a three-round score of 72-74-76/222 to tie for 29th. Sophomore Ross Pilliod tied for 33rd with a score of 71-76-76/223, while senior Drew Taylor capped his collegiate career with a tie for 40th with a score of 73-74-78/227. Junior Tyler Sokolis tied for 44th with a score of 71-77-79/229, while rookie Reed Winkler rounded out the five-man squad with a score of 75-83-82/240 to finish 55th.
Richmond captured the team title with a score of 840, while Davidson's Jack Long earned medalist honors at 206.
