PRINCETON, N.J. - The Saint Joseph's golf team jumped two spots on Sunday to finish in 10th place at the Princeton Invitational. Individually, Ross Pilliod finished in a tie for 19th place with a three-round score of 75-72-72/219.
Playing at the par-71 Springdale Golf Club (6,380 yards), the Hawks shot a final round score of 292 to finish with a score of 309-295-292/896.
Senior Drew Taylor is tied for 40th at 77-74-73/224, with Tyler Sokolis tying for 54th at 79-73-75/227. Rookie Michael O'Brien tied for 58th at 78-79-72/229 and classmate Richard Riva rounded out the five-man squad tying for 63rd with a score of 81-76-75/232.
Seton Hall won the team title by five strokes over Harvard at 853, while Pirates' Lloyd Jefferson Go took medalist honors at 204.
The Hawks are back in action on April 22 at the Navy Spring Invitational.
