ANNAPOLIS, Md. – All six members of the Saint Joseph's men's tennis team that headed down to the U.S. Naval Academy for this weekend's ITA Atlantic Regional Championships earned at least one victory over the opening rounds of the competition.
 
In the singles draw, Nathan Perrone progressed to the fourth round with a pair of wins after receiving a bye to the second round.  Perrone rolled past Alexander Karman of Penn State before topping the hosts' Jake Fishkin.
 
Nickolas Frisk and Alp Sentay notched two main draw wins apiece as well.  Frisk dismissed Loyola's George Cavo in the first round and beat Andrew Rozanov of Georgetown in the second before falling to Rayane Stable of VCU in the third.  Sentay cruised past Navy's Sam Vagner in the first round and won the first set at love before Dustin Ha of George Mason retired in the second round.  Sentay then went down in the third round to Penn State's Malik Bhatnagar.
 
In other first round action, Nassim Fenjiro beat Justin Suarez of Villanova and Eshan Kanetkar outlasted Navy's Jan Kjellberg.  Fenjiro and Kanetkar fell in the second round to Gavin Seagraves of Navy and Joaquim Almeida of VCU, respectively.  Alex MacNeil suffered an opening round defeat to Navy's Jack McBride, but bounced back to win a consolation match over Colin Corsini of Loyola.

On the doubles side, Frisk and Sentay notched a pair of wins, rolling past a duo from Loyola in the first round before outlasting players from Penn State in the second.  Fenjiro teamed up with Perrone for a win at love in the first round over a pairing from Mount St. Mary's before submitting to a duo from Morgan State in the second round.  Kanetkar and MacNeil were first round victims of a pairing from Loyola.
 
Perrone will take on Penn State's Charl Morgan on Saturday for a spot in the quarterfinals, while Frisk and Sentay will meet a duo from VCU in the third round of the doubles draw.
