PHILADELPHIA – Every Monday, SJUHawks.com will roll out a preview of the week ahead. Below are events in which the Crimson and Gray will compete from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.
As of March 1, 2021, spectators are permitted to attend outdoor Athletics contests hosted at Saint Joseph's University. Â All guests are required to wear masks, physical distancing must be practiced, any/all group gatherings are prohibited, SJU indoor facilities have restricted access, and outdoor restrooms will be provided.
BASEBALL: SJU is scheduled for a three-game set with Villanova this week. Games on Thursday and Saturday are set for Smithson Field, while a game on Friday will be played at Villanova Ballpark.
FIELD HOCKEY: The Hawks are slated to host La Salle on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
GOLF: Saint Joseph's opens its 2021 schedule at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The Hawks will cap the week at the Columbia Invitational on Saturday.
MEN'S LACROSSE: Riding a four-game winning streak, the Hawks close out a three-game homestand vs. Wagner this Saturday, April 3. Opening face-off is set for 3:30 p.m. on Sweeney Field.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE: Saint Joseph's will host Duquesne in a key Atlantic 10 matchup on Saturday at noon.
MEN'S SOCCER: Saint Joseph's hits the road this week, taking on Rhode Island in Atlantic 10 action this Wednesday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. and UMBC in non-conference action this Saturday, April 3 at 4:00 p.m.
WOMEN'S SOCCER: The Hawks host UMass Wednesday and Rhode Island on Saturday.
SOFTBALL: Saint Joseph's travels to city rival Penn for a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 12:30 p.m.
MEN'S TENNIS: The Hawks will host Temple on Tuesday before heading to Pittsburgh to take on Carnegie Mellon on Friday and Duquesne on Saturday,
WOMEN'S TENNIS: Saint Joseph's hosts Temple on Tuesday before playing road matches at Drexel on Wednesday, Carnegie Mellon on Friday, and Duquesne on Saturday.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD: The Hawks return to Franklin Field for the Philadelphia Big 5 Meet on Saturday, April 3, set to begin at noon.
