PHILADELPHIA – The Rams scored two first-half goals en route to the win as the Saint Joseph's men's soccer squad closed the 2020-21 campaign with a 2-0 loss to Fordham in Atlantic 10 action on Sweeney Field on Saturday evening. The Hawks finish the spring with a 3-7 record (1-4 A-10).
Prior to the start of the match, SJU honored its eight seniors for their commitment and dedication to the program over their careers on Hawk Hill, recognizing
Kyle Allan,
Alvin Dahn,
David Grana,
Jack Hirschfield,
Alan Kahlenbeck,
Daniel Morales, and
Aidan Watkins as well as
Daryus Lake, who graduated this past December.
All seven available seniors earned starts; Allan (1-3) made three saves in the opening 45:00.
How It Happened
• Freshman midfielder
Nemo Philipp (7', 31') and Hirschfield (31') fired off shots on goal that were saved and Allan made a pair of stops (21', 28') as the match remained scoreless through the opening 30:49.
• Fordham (5-0-2, 3-0-2 A-10) scored off a corner kick in the 33rd minute (32:56), as Luke McNamara headed in a goal on the feed from Jacob Bohm.
• The Rams added their second goal in the 36th minute (35:46), as Brandon Golden found Matt Sloan for the header.

Luis Ludosan came in to play the final 45:00 in net, making one save vs. zero goals allowed.Â
