NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Saint Joseph's senior
Amanda Nava was tabbed for the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis All-Conference Second Team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Nava posted an 11-8 mark in singles play this season, holding down the top spot in the Hawk lineup in each of her appearances. She added nine doubles victories, all in the number-one flight as well, with three wins in each discipline coming against Atlantic 10 opponents.
The honor is the third such accolade for the Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, product, who earned First Team selections in both 2018 and 2019. She is the third Hawk to earn three Atlantic 10 postseason honors after Casey Robinson '13 and
Aurora Davis '15.
Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado of VCU was named the Most Outstanding Performer, while George Washington's Stella Wiesemann earned the Most Outstanding Rookie Performer award. VCU head coach Vivian Segnini was tabbed as the league's Coach of the Year.
