PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's soccer team (1-5) is set to take on George Mason (1-3-1) to begin Atlantic 10 play on Friday in its return to Sweeney Field after four-straight road contests before traveling to Princeton (2-2) on Tuesday.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • The Hawks return to play after narrow losses to both Cornell and Rutgers.
  • Rookie Blake Driehuis leads the Scarlet & Gray with three points on a goal and an assist.
  • Eight other Hawks have registered a point, including four with two apiece.
  • Sophomore Luis Ludosan (0-2) started the past two games and has 15 saves on a 78.9 percentage and a 2.00 goals against average.
ABOUT GEORGE MASON:
  • The Patriots enter Friday's contest having lost its last three matches.
  • Louis Lehr is leading George Mason with four points with a pair of scores. He accounts for two of the Patriots' three goals this season.
  • Three other Patriots have recorded a point with Jacob Rylander being the only other goal scorer.
  • Lee Jackson (1-3-1) has started all five games in net. He's made 17 saves with a 70.8 percentage and a 1.44 goals against average.
ABOUT PRINCETON:
  • The Tigers are riding a two-game win streak ahead of Tuesday's match against SJU and will be well rested, having not played since a 3-0 win over Fairfield on Wed., Sept. 15.
  • Francis Akomeah-Sirleaf has two of the Tigers' five goals. He's started all four matches.
  • Six Tigers have earned a point this year, with a quartet posting two or more.
  • Jack Roberts (2-2) is the only keeper to see time in goal this season. Roberts has seven saves and a 70.0 percentage while allowing 0.75 goals on average.
