The Saint Joseph's men's soccer team (0-2) is heading south for a pair of matches this weekend at Campbell and UNC Greensboro. The Hawks are set to take on Campbell on Friday at 7 p.m. and UNC Greensboro on Sunday at 3 p.m.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • The Hawks are fresh off an overtime loss to LIU at Sweeney Field this past Sunday, 1-0.
  • SJU is eyeing its first goal of the campaign.
  • In net, freshman Lars Haavie (0-2) has made both starts. The rookie has made eight saves and allowed just two goals for a save percentage of .80.
ABOUT CAMPBELL:
  • The Camels are 1-1 on the year with a victory over UNC Greensboro, 3-1, and a loss to A-10 foe Davidson, 3-1.
  • Tyler Young leads the squad with a pair of goals, followed by Gerard Broussard and Daniel Hernandez with one apiece.
  • Edu Rodriguez (1-1) has played every minute in net this year for Campbell and has made seven saves and allowed four goals. He posts a save percentage of .63 and holds a 2.00 goals against average.
ABOUT UNC GREENSBORO:
  • The Spartans enter play at 1-1 and will take on Stetson on Friday. UNC Greensboro lost to Campbell to open the season and defeated Gardner-Webb, 2-0.
  • All three goals for the Spartans came from different scorers.
  • Niclas Wild (1-1) holds down the keeper spot with three saves, three goals against, and a .50 save percentage.
