MERION STATION, Pa. –
Nathan Perrone advanced to the final of the top singles flight on Saturday, the second day of the 12th SJU Invitational at the SJU Tennis Complex.
Perrone cruised past Luis Molina of Delaware in the quarterfinals before outlasting Morgan State's Mikeal Carpenter in a supertiebreaker. He will meet Delaware's James Wilkinson in the final; the pair met a week ago at the Joe Hunt Invitational, with Perrone securing a straight-sets victory.
Also in the top flight,
Alp Sentay dropped his quarterfinal match to Zack Elliott of Lehigh in a supertiebreaker.
Nassim Fenjiro advanced to the semifinals of the second consolation flight, topping Jefferson's Hannibal Borg, 8-5.
In the third flight,
Eshan Kanetkar fell in his quarterfinal to Delaware's Liam Hedlund, while
Alex MacNeil dropped a second round matchup in a supertiebreaker in the fourth flight.
