The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team opened the fall portion of its schedule at the Navy Day Regatta on Sunday on the Schuylkill River.

How It Happened
• The Hawks raced six boats on the day with two taking part in the Varsity 8 event, one in the 2nd Varsity 8 event and three boats in the Varsity 4 category.
• In the Varsity 8 event, St. Joe's "A" boat placed 12th in a time of 13:18.92, while the Hawks' "B" boat finished 18th in the 31-boat competition with a time of 13:33.58.
• Saint Joseph's 2nd Varsity 8 finished 12th in its event in a time of 14:14.26.
• The Hawks' "A" boat placed 14th in the 44-team Varsity 4 event in a time of 14:21.93, while St. Joe's "B" boat finished in a time of 14:23.08 to place 15th.
• Saint Joseph's Varsity 4 "C" boat placed 24th in a time of 14:39.66.
