PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team snagged its first win of the spring, shutting out Mount St. Mary's, 7-0, at the Legacy Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday night.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Hawks took the early lead with a doubles sweep, claiming wins in all three flights.
 
• The singles side of the ledger saw a dominant performance for SJU, as all six flights were won in straight sets.  Nathan Perrone was a winner in flight number one, while Nickolas Frisk and Alp Sentay rolled in the second and third flights.
 
• Justus Agbo got his first win as a Hawk in the fourth flight, while Eshan Kanetkar and Jack Campbell won their fifth and sixth flight matches, respectively, to finish off the night.

"We want to dedicate this win to Coach Crookenden and wish him the fastest recovery!" head coach Marc Pibernat said.  "It was a very complete match for us.  We had a game plan that we talked about on Friday and everyone stuck to it and delivered.  A special mention to our freshman, Justus Agbo, who won his first match in college and has been an incredible addition to our team, not just as a tennis player but most important as the kind of person he is.  And also to Jack Campbell who like everyone else, played very solid and got his first match and win of the season under his belt."
