Saint Joseph's University and SJU Athletics is seeking new Hawk mascots to uphold one of the greatest traditions in college basketball! All full-time Saint Joseph's undergraduate students in good academic standing are eligible to apply.
 
Two students will be selected to perform the duties of the Hawk during the 2022-23 academic year. One student will be assigned to work directly with the men's basketball team and the other will be assigned to work directly with the women's basketball team. Additionally, both students will be asked to represent Saint Joseph's University and SJU Athletics at functions other than basketball games. 
 
All applicants must submit the following to be considered for the role of the Hawk…

1. The Hawk Mascot Application
2. A current resume
3. A brief video demonstrating your overall school spirit and "flaptitude"
4. A letter of reference from a current Saint Joseph's faculty or staff member
   • Letters of reference should be submitted directly to Emily Jakimowicz (ejakimow@sju.edu) by the faculty or staff member of your choosing prior to the application deadline
