NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – No. 20 Saint Joseph's finished the regular season Saturday with a 17-9 win at Merrimack to conclude NEC play undefeated. The victory moves the Hawks to 12-3 this season, which ties the single season win total.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After the teams traded goals to make it 2-2, the Hawks ripped off four-straight to take a 6-2 lead after one.
•  SJU continued the stretch with two scores to open the second quarter. Merrimack cut into the deficit with a 2-1 margin into the halftime buzzer with the Hawks up, 9-4.
• The Hawks and Warriors each found the back of the net once up to the 13:46 mark before the Crimson & Gray recorded four goals over a 5:43 span to go ahead 14-5. Merrimack added one with 44 ticks left for a 14-6 game after three periods.
• It was an even 3-3 battle in the fourth quarter to finish the game 17-9.

BEHIND THE BOX SCORE:

• Levi Anderson (2G, 4A) and Carter Page (4G, 2A) posted a game-high six points.
• Matt Bohmer contributed four points on two goals and two helpers.
• Mac McLaughlin notched the hat trick to tie his career mark.
• Austin Strazzulla (1G, 1A) and Tucker Brown (2G) each had two points.
• Teo Domic, Patrick Bronander, and Patrick Clemens all recorded a goal, while Shayne Wolf and Colin Reich rounded out the scoring efforts with an assist apiece.
• Zach Cole went 15-of-27 from the X with 12 ground balls.
• Robbie Seeley (8-1) gets the win with 13 saves and a .591 save percentage.
