HAWK TALK
"We did it! It is absolutely incredible what this team is doing this year," head coach
Marc Pibernat said. "Today we probably played the most important match of the season considering what it means toward the seeding for the Atlantic 10 Championship. The team earned that position with hard work and incredible wins during our regular season. I couldn't ask more from the guys today! They knew the pressure was on us to go and win the match against George Mason and they delivered an incredible performance. A huge shoutout to Nicko, who won his doubles and clinched the match for us with his singles victory, and also to Nate who tied the program's record for the most singles wins in a season. He will have the chance to break that record Monday against Coppin State! What a day to be a Hawk!"
