PHILADELPHIA – After a convincing 14-7 win in the NEC Championship game on Saturday, Saint Joseph's will head to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history when it takes on fourth-seeded Yale in the First Round. The game is slated for Saturday, May 14, at 5:00 p.m. in New Haven, Connecticut, and will air on ESPNU.
Yale (11-4) earned an at-large berth to the tournament after falling to Penn in the Ivy League championship game on Sunday. The Hawks and Bulldogs have a pair of common opponents; Yale defeated Penn during the regular season and lost to Penn State while SJU topped PSU and fell to Penn in overtime.
