ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team opened its weekend at the Naval Academy on Friday with the opening matches of the Joe Hunt Invitational.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• A trio of doubles pairings took to the court for the Hawks, each splitting a pair of matches. In the Red Draw,
Inigo Diaz and
Nassim Fenjiro teamed up for a win over a duo from Delaware before falling to a pair from Fairfield in a tiebreaker.
• In the Navy Draw,
Justus Agbo and
Alejandro Vedri were tiebreaker winners over a second Delaware entry; they would drop their second match to another duo from Fairfield.
•
Eli Gan-Dy and
Mark Rubin fell to an entry from the hosts, Navy, before defeating a pairing from St. Bonaventure.
