HOW IT HAPPENED
•

• On the doubles side, Diaz and

HAWK TALK
"It was a solid tournament overall for us; we played at a much higher level than we did last weekend and it was honestly a very positive three days for us down at Navy," head coach
Marc Pibernat said. "A special mention to our freshman
Inigo Diaz, who had an amazing weekend reaching the final of his flight by winning three very good matches and also playing good doubles with Nassim.
"There are still things we can definitely improve, but this is just the beginning for us and this past three days I feel like the team reached another level. It was very unfortunate that
Justus Agbo twisted his ankle in Saturday's first singles match and had to pull out. He was playing great tennis but he will be back stronger. The team will have an off day tomorrow and Tuesday we will start preparing for our invitational tournament."
