MERION STATION, Pa. – Inigo Diaz and Alejandro Vedri reached the semifinals of the top singles flight on Saturday afternoon as the Saint Joseph's men's tennis team concluded its slate of matches at the 13th Saint Joseph's Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Diaz was a 7-5, 6-3 winner over Bernardo Teixeira of Delaware in the quarterfinals before falling, 6-3, 6-3, to Pablo Perez Ramos of NJIT.

• Vedri topped Delaware's William Wibner, 6-3, 7-6 (4), before falling in a supertiebreaker to Matt Kleiman of Lehigh, 3-6, 6-2, 10-4.

UP NEXT
The Saint Joseph's Invitational concludes with the finals and consolation finals in all four singles and both doubles flights.
