The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team opened its fall schedule at the Navy Day Regatta on Sunday on the Schuylkill River.
How It Happened
• The Hawks raced seven boats on the day with three taking part in the Pairs event, one in the Varsity 8, one in the Novice 8, one in the Varsity 4 and another in the Novice 4.
• In the Pairs event, Saint Joseph's boat of
Riley McDade and
Evie Holder placed first in a time of 16:39.45, while
Hannah Ashcraft and
Farah Konschak finished second in 17:54.93, and sisters
Kayla Menshon and
Kelsey Menshon placed fourth in 19:02.91.
