Hawk Talk
"We had a solid performance in strong headwind conditions up on the Charles River. We want to use the fall race opportunities to get an idea of where we stand at this point with our rowing skills, our training plan and our race composure," said head coach Mike Irwin. "The Head of the Charles is a winding course that tests all three phases we need to work on each year. It is fun to get on the road and take part in one of rowing's great fall traditions. I am looking forward to the next two weeks as we prepare for our final fall outing in Princeton with the whole squad."
