Hawk Talk
"The Princeton Chase has been the annual close to the fall racing season and Team #70, as a whole, had an encouraging day on the water. I felt we started off a little slow with our training in September but the focus and effort at practices was building in October and is showed up on Sunday. We are starting to figure out our identity and capabilities and I like where we are heading," said head coach
Mike Irwin. "The coaches and volunteers in Princeton put on a great event each fall and the field of entires gives us a chance to get a good look at where we stand early in our yearly training cycle. The next step is laying out the plan for training over the next four months. We want to build a bigger aerobic engine and become better boat movers. We have work to do but this squad is eager for the opportunity!"
