CONWAY, S.C. – The Saint Joseph's softball team wrapped up play at the Chanticleer Showdown with a 4-2 victory over UAlbany on Sunday morning.
How It Happened
• UAlbany grabbed the game's first lead with a two-run double in the top of the first.
• Saint Joseph's responded in the bottom of the third, scoring three times to take a 3-2 edge.

Jessica Gaughan scored on a RBI single by
Meghan Sinkus for the Hawks' first run.
•
Karlee Smith tied the game on a sacrifice fly by
Sarah Cancila, while a throwing error on the play allowed Sinkus to score the go-ahead run.
• Saint Joseph's added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth as
Lauren Pscolka scored on a RBI single by
Sarah Cancila.

• Gaughan and Smith each went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
• Sinkus was 1-for-3 with a RBI and run scored.

Taylor Trowbridge went 4.1 innings and allowed two runs in a win.
