Saint Joseph's women's rowing team returned to the Schuylkill River on Saturday as the Hawks advanced all three of its boats to grand final events at the Jesuit Invitational.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's opened the day with all three of its boats advancing through time trials to earn spots in Grand Final events.
• The Hawks' Varsity 8 battled Holy Cross in a highly-competitive Grand Final, with St. Joe's crossing the finish line in a time of 6:55, less than four seconds behind Holy Cross.
• Saint Joseph's 2nd Varsity posted a time of 7:06.8 in a hard-fought race to finish third against Fordham and Fairfield.
• In the Varsity 4 Grand Final, the Hawks' finished the course in a time of 8:11.4 to place third.

Coach's Corner
"I'm really proud of our crews today. The focus this week was having courage to push in the preliminary round and attack the second 250, which all of our boats did and did with conviction," said head coach Gerry Quinlan. "We are in a really great spot heading into our train-through week."
