WORCESTER, Ma. – Saint Joseph's Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, and Third Varsity 8 took on Holy Cross on Saturday as the two programs competed on Lake Quinsigamond.

How It Happened
• Opening the morning's competition, the Hawks' Third Varsity 8 crossed the finish line in a time of 6:30.08, just behind Holy Cross' two boats.
• In the Second Varsity 8 race, the Hawks and Crusaders battled back-and-forth, with Holy Cross edging out St. Joe's by just over a second, 6:07.03 to 6:08.33.
• Wrapping up the races, Saint Joseph's Varsity 8 finished the course in a time of 6:11.6.
