MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team fell to NJIT, 6-1, at the SJU Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• NJIT took the doubles point with wins in the first and third flights.  John Butler and Oscar Serra teamed up for a 6-3 win in the second flight for the Hawks.
 
• Serra would go on to win his sixth-flight match in a supertiebreaker, but the visitors would take the top five flights to secure the match win.
 
UP NEXT
The Hawks visit Villanova on Wednesday.
