OLEAN, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's senior
Saige Stutz was stellar in the circle and classmate
Erica Lawrence came through with a clutch RBI double in extra innings to lift the Hawks to a 3-2 victory in eight innings at St. Bonaventure on Sunday in the season finale for both teams.
How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's broke through for the game's first run in the top of the sixth as
Nicole Bondoc scored on a sacrifice fly by
Riley York to make it 1-0.
• St. Bonaventure rallied to tie the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh on a RBI single by Shannon Costello with two outs.
•
Kaelin Cash led off the top of the eighth with a double, and came around to score on a RBI double by Lawrence to put the Hawks ahead, 2-1.

Jenna Currie followed with a double down the left field line to plate Lawrence and give Saint Joseph's a 3-1 lead.
• St. Bonaventure loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the eighth.
• Following a strike out, the Bonnies cut the Hawks' lead to 3-2 on a RBI fielder's choice by Autumn Black.
• With the tying run at third base and winning run at first with two outs, Saint Joseph's
Emily Siler struck out Macy Miller to close out the victory for the Hawks.
