LEBANON, Pa. – Saint Joseph's women's golf team posted a season-best third-place finish at the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational on Monday.
How It Happened
• As a team, the Hawks shot 350 on the afternoon to place third in the 14-team field.
• Individually,
Elora Walker paced the Hawks with a season-best round of 79 to tie for fourth place.
•
Olivia Cooper and
Hanna Mitchell each carded rounds of 90 and finished tied for 19th.
•
Allie Gesztesi finished 21st overall as she shot 91.
•
Ava Tornello rounded out the five-person team as she tied for 51st at 109.
• Millersville won the team title with a score of 326.
• Catholic's Brooke Smith and Albright's Fatima Rizvi each shot 76, with Smith besting Rizvi on the fifth tie-break hole to earn medalist honors.
• The Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational was held at the par-72 Lebanon Country Club (5,726 yards).
