POWELLS POINT, N.C. – Saint Joseph's men's golf team shot five-under-par 279 in Tuesday's final round of the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate and finished fourth overall.
How It Happened
• As a team, the Hawks posted a three-round score of 284-292-279/855 (+3) and finished in fourth place in the 14-team field.
•
Keller Mulhern led the Hawks as he tied for fifth place with a score of 73-71-65/209 (-4).
•
Christian Matt carded a three-round score of 71-71-68/210 (-3) and tied for seventh place.
•
Thomas Larkin tied for 25th with a score of 68-72-78/218 (+5).
•
Tyler Leyden shot 72-78-74/224 (+11) and tied for 42rd.
•
Aidan Farkas finished 55th with a final score of 77-80-72/229 (+16).
• Georgetown won the team title by four strokes with a score of 287-275-284/846 (-6).
• Longwood's Justin LaRue earned medalist honors with a three-round score of 71-64-67/202 (-11).
• The ODU/OBX Intercollegiate was held at the par-71 Kilmarlic Golf Club (6,554 yards).
