DAVIDSON, N.C./PHILADELPHIA – Members of the Saint Joseph's women's tennis team competed in both the Atlantic 10 Conference Masters event and Drexel's Dragon Invitational on Friday.
 
At the A-10 Masters, hosted by Davidson, Gisele Tang won her opening round match, battling from a set down for a 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 win, before falling in the Round of 16.
 
At Drexel, three members of the squad competed against players from Temple in singles and doubles matches.
 
Play in both events continues on Saturday.
