PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team continued its weekend at the Cissie Leary Invitational, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
The Hawks took on players from the host Penn Quakers in both singles and doubles action while facing Villanova in doubles matches as well.
Freshman
Gisele Tang turned in a strong effort on Saturday, forcing her singles match to a second-set tiebreak while also reaching a tiebreak with fellow freshman
Addison Melfi in doubles play.
Tournament play wraps up on Sunday at Penn.
