PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team wrapped up its weekend of competition at Penn's Cissie Leary Invitational on Sunday.
The Hawks took on players from Cornell in their final matches of the tournament, with freshman
Addison Melfi collecting a supertiebreaker win in the second flight. Sophomore
Brooke Tackett also carried her third-flight match to a supertiebreaker before falling to her opponent from the Big Red.
The Hawks are in action again on Thursday when they return to Penn for the ITA Northeast Regionals.
