RICHMOND, Va. – The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team was unable to overcome a first half surge from #25 Richmond, falling on the road Saturday afternoon to the Spiders in a 16-12 defeat.

SJU falls to 4-5 on the year and 2-2 in A-10 play, while Richmond moves to 8-2 on the season and 4-0 in the Atlantic 10.
