FAIRFAX, Va. – The Saint Joseph's men's rowing team competed at the Occoquan Invitational on Sunday, with the Hawks' Varisty 4 placing first in its event at the Occoquan Reservoir.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's Varisty 4 placed first in its three-boat race in the morning as the Hawks topped Marietta and Hobart in a time of 7:05.50.
• The Hawks' Varsity 8 finished second to Georgetown in the morning, crossing the line in 6:09.63.
• St. Joe's 2nd Varsity 8 posted a time of 6:03.21, and placed second to Georgetown in the morning's race.
• In the afternoon, Saint Joseph's 2nd Varsity 8 finished first in the B Final, besting Gonzaga, Hobart, Jacksonville and Marietta with a final time of 6:07.10.
• In the Varsity 8 B Final, the Hawks topped its earlier time with a 6:00.55 finish to place fourth.
