The Saint Joseph's men's rowing team posted a strong showing at the 2024 Kerr Cup as the Hawks had all three of their boats advance to the Grand Finals, with the 3rd Varsity 8 placing second and the Varsity 8 finishing third in their respective events.

How It Happened
• The Hawks' Varsity 8 qualified for the Grand Final as it placed second in its heat in a time of 5:59.4.
• In the Varsity 8 Grand Final, Saint Joseph's improved upon its time as it finished third overall, crossing the finish line in 5:56.4.
• St. Joe's 3rd Varsity 8 posted a second-place finish in its Grand Final, crossing the line just behind Bucknell's A squad with a time of 6:12.2.
• The Hawks' 2nd Varsity 8 posted a 6:04.2 time in its morning heat to advance to the Grand Final.
• Saint Joseph's placed fourth in its Grand Final event as the Hawks completed the course in 6:04.3.

"It was great to be back on our home course this weekend in near perfect conditions! It was extremely valuable for our 1V and 2V to experience a one-day heat and final format before May. We have to work on the consistency of our race plan execution and how to evolve with a short turn-around. All three boats had good stretches in their final, but we also had things we know we have to take to a higher level. It is going to be an exciting week getting ready for the Bergen Cup!"
