The Saint Joseph's Varsity 4 took first place as the Hawks hosted the Kelly Cup on Saturday at the Schuylkill River.

How It Happened
• Taking on rivals Drexel and Temple, Saint Joseph's Varsity 4 took the lead out of the gates and never looked back as they claimed gold in a time of 7:54.3.
• Saint Joseph's Varsity 8 posted solid showing as the Hawks finished second in their event in a time of 7:01.0.
• In a hotly contested 3rd Varsity 8 race, the Hawks placed second in 7:43.1, less than two seconds behind Temple's A boat.
• Saint Joseph's 2nd Varsity 8 crossed the line in 7:40.0 to finish fourth in its event.
